Our inspectors are qualified in these API pipeline inspection codes and many others; API 510, API 570, API 571, API 576, API 578, API 574. Gecric Integrity employs a variety of Non-Destructive Testing methods for pipeline flaw detection. Using a combination of Long Range Ultrasonic Testing and point detection technology, we are able to map out flaw tracks on your pipelines.

Guided Wave Technology
i. Subsea Pipeline Inspection
Our pipeline inspection expertise extends to the inspection of subsea pipelines using the special Guided Ultrasonics Limited technology called the gMat. Subsea pipelines are harder to reach. The risk associated with these pipelines is also high as a leakage may cause extensive damage and have great environmental consequences. We have successfully inspected pipelines in Ghana using this advanced Non-Destructive Testing method. This project is elaborated on in the Case Studies on the website. We also conduct visual subsea inspections to check for marine growths which may cause damage or interfere with facility efficiency.
ii. Onshore Pipeline Inspection
Some of Ghana’s most important pipelines have been inspected by Gecric Integrity using Guided Wave Technology. We have inspected 6km pipelines both in Tema and Takoradi among others using Guided Wave Technology. It has been an effective tool in identifying leakages in inaccessible areas. Gecric Integrity has supported many clients in avoiding costly losses in managing their pipelines.
Pigging Services
Debris and sludge accumulate in pipelines over time. Using pigging technology, we clean out pipelines promoting the free flow of product. Our inspectors analyze your pipeline and choose the best type of pig for the process. With the use of Intelligent Pigs, we can also check for corrosion and measure wall thickness.
Gecric Integrity is also able to detect internal wall flaws in pipelines by the use of Intelligent Pigs. Our inspectors are trained and able to carry out these inspections.
